Kent, known as the 'Garden of England', is a ceremonial county in the far south-east of England, bordered by the Thames Estuary to the north and the English Channel to the south. It is renowned for its hop gardens, orchards, historic castles and cathedral city of Canterbury, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kent also serves as the UK's gateway to continental Europe via the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone and the Port of Dover.
