The Metropolitan Borough of Trafford is a local government district in Greater Manchester, bordering Manchester city centre to the east and Cheshire to the south. Trafford is also internationally recognised as the home of Old Trafford, the stadium of Manchester United FC, and the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground.
