Kingston upon Thames is a historic market town and the administrative centre of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, situated on the south bank of the River Thames in south-west London. It is one of England's oldest royal boroughs, with a heritage stretching back to the coronation of Anglo-Saxon kings.
